XGen Connected Response gives associates and managers a discreet way to summon help at registers, service counters, stockrooms, and loading docks. It triggers a fast, coordinated response across the store, connects to 911, and scales across every location on one platform, the same one that runs your store-wide paging.
Associates call for help without escalating a situation in front of customers.
The emergency trigger takes several deliberate presses, which helps prevent false alarms.
Alerts reach managers and staff, and when needed the whole store and first responders.
One platform and one standard of response across all of your stores.
A tense customer, a theft, or a medical event can unfold in seconds, at the register or in the stockroom. XGen Connected Response puts a silent call for help within reach, turns a silent activation into a coordinated response with the location, and gives every store the same fast, reliable standard.
A call for help within reach across the store
Registers, stockrooms, and loading docks
Direct routing with your store's verified location
Start with one store and roll out to the chain
From a wearable associate button or a fixed button at the register to a coordinated, location-aware response, with a direct line to 911.
The alert rides on a full communications system that also runs the day: store-wide paging, back-of-house coordination, and entry. It is compatible with most existing systems, so you can start where you need to and upgrade over time.
A clear, practiced chain that turns a silent alert into a fast, coordinated response.
An associate presses a wearable or counter button, or uses the app. The emergency trigger takes several deliberate presses so it is never set off by accident.
Managers and staff are alerted, and when needed the whole store and 911 are reached with your verified location.
Beacons place the alert on a live responder map, down to the sales floor or stockroom.
Staff coordinate in real time over push, text, and group chat, with shared awareness of the incident.
Modular and scalable, so you can start with one store and roll out a single standard of safety and communication across every location.
Intuitive interfaces that fit into your current systems with minimal disruption.
Customized to fit how your stores actually run, front of house and back.
Modular systems that grow as you grow, from one store to the whole chain.
Security and safety alerts to staff and first responders with one click.
States are beginning to require panic devices and workplace-violence protections for retail workers. XGen Connected Response is built to help you meet them. The summary below is current to mid-2026 and provided for general information only, not legal advice.
Retail Worker Safety Act (Labor Law 27-e). Silent response button required for employers with 500 or more retail employees, effective January 1, 2027; a violence-prevention policy and training are already in effect.
Isolated-worker protections, RCW 49.60.515. Panic buttons required for covered retail workers who work alone.
SB 553 (2024). Requires a written workplace-violence-prevention plan, training, and an incident log. A plan requirement, not a panic-button device mandate.
We'll walk through the panic buttons, store-wide response, and direct 911, then show how it rolls out consistently across every location.
